They are a coalition of farmers, educators, doctors, scientists, and business leaders whose mission is to ban glyphosate, aiming to expose the impacts of chemical farming and offer a path forward through regenerative agricultural practices.

Adriatic Muscatel Sage: Herbalist Sebastian Kneipp once said that growing Sage in your garden is like having your own pharmacy at hand. Some research suggests it helps with long-term memory, creative thinking, and attention span. Sage's botanical name comes from the Latin word "salvere", which — to no one’s surprise — means, "to be saved." There are over 900 species of sage worldwide, with 19 of them having their origins in California — growing along the Pacific Coast, crossing valleys, and threading their way up our mountain slopes. Among these native species are Hummingbird Sage, Pitcher Sage, Black Sage, Purple Sage, Mexican Purple Sage, and White Sage — all currently growing wild at the Estate after a Winter’s rain.
Ancient Agrigento Olive Tree: Nothing is new under the sun. Time is not a line, but an endless circle. As we orbit around, yet again, a new solar return, we are reminded about the cyclical, spiraling nature of things. The seasons remind us we’re in a constant state of coming around to ourselves. Getting back to basics. And reviving all the parts of the world that have stood the test of time.
Climbing Tuscan Rosemary: The objet d’amour of Romans and Greeks. The “mist of the sea,” Rosemary is the objet d’amour of Romans, Greeks, and Honeybees everywhere, its scent oft detected wafting amongst the Cypress Trees and ruins of golden hour strolls. For centuries, this ubiquitous herb has been used as a mental stimulant — said to enhance memory, intelligence and creative dreaming. Light up.
Coriandoli: Italian for “confetti”, floats through the air so beautifully. But it also smells like a celebration: White Christmas Lilies (the National Flower of Italy), the sweetness of empty Champagne glasses, cigarette smoke, Santal, and Musk. We wanted to recreate the vibe from a party in Venice we attended, with a room full of handsome Italians and glamorous old ladies who smelled like new hairspray and old money. With a bit of the muskiness of the handsome Italian waiters sweating a little bit after running around all night after the guests.
Night Blooming Jasmine & Damask Rose: Formulated for euphoria and joy. Its fragrance is something we have a hard time describing. A hard, sweet slap in the face. It swirls in the back of your nose and instantly picks us up. Layered with Ionian Bergamot, Damask Rose, Pink Peppercorn, and White Sandalwood.
Petrichor: Named for the smell of earth after a rain. Once a year the storms come to Los Angeles. When the deluge finally arrives at the Estate, the earth heaves a sigh of relief: the birds sing, the winds blow, and the mighty Eucalyptus begin to turn their leaves. This phenomenon occurs before rain because of the increased humidity in the air, which softens the leaves and causes them to turn. Eucalyptus leaves are a core ingredient in our petrichor candle. We combine their oil with Myrrh, Amber, and Vetiver to mimic the scent of the earth after rain. It is a scent that has fascinated people for as long as the rains have been falling. Paulo Coelho wisely said that not all storms come to disrupt your life, some come to clear your path. Our petrichor candle honors this idea. We release this very limited-edition candle on January 1st each year. It’s an invitation to wash away what no longer serves you, and turn over a new leaf.
