Takara Enso Necklace
Enso is a sacred symbol in zen buddhism meaning circle or togetherness. A small talisman with a golden charm on jade serpantine beads, measures 16" long.
Takara is handmade designer jewelry created by artist, Jen Goff. Each piece is sculptural and primitive in gold, silver, shell, stone, clay, and hand-dyed silk.
Takara jewelry draws inspiration from traditional craft techniques and the deeply meditative aspects of creative process.
Jen Goff, the artist behind the collection has walked a winding path through many worlds and ways of living, but eventually settled down to create jewelry. Her work is intuitive, connecting beauty with everyday life through decorative objects of personal adornment. Each of Takara’s unique pieces is handmade, using a variety of methods that include weaving, rope-making, kumihimo (traditional Japanese braiding) and natural dye processing.
